Service provider privacy policy

1. Who this policy is for

This policy is for businesses and people who join the service provider waitlist at wombud.com.au/signup.

It does not cover the buyer waitlist. That list has its own privacy policy. It also does not describe the wombud app. When the app is available, it will have its own privacy policy.

wombud PTY LTD (trading as wombud) (ABN 44 695 553 050, ACN 695 553 050) of PO BOX 179, OAKLEIGH VIC 3166, Australia handles personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

2. What we collect

• Email address or Australian phone number. You must give at least one of these. You may give both.
• Name, if you choose to give it. A name is optional.
• Website technical data, such as a hashed IP address where we store one, browser type, pages viewed, and the time of the visit. We use this to run and protect the website.

If you give neither an email address nor a phone number, we cannot add you to the list.

3. How we use it

We use your email address, phone number, or both to contact you when wombud starts. We contact you only on the details you gave us. You can ask us to stop at any time.

We also use technical data to run and protect this page.

4. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with companies that host the website or send messages on our behalf, when the law requires it, or if the business is sold or restructured.

Those companies may be outside Australia, including in the United States, the European Union, and the Asia-Pacific region. We take reasonable steps so they handle the information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your details while you are on the service provider waitlist. If you ask us to stop contacting you, we keep only what we need to avoid contacting you again. You can ask us to delete your details by emailing hello(at)wombud(dot)com(dot)au. We may keep a record where the law requires it.

6. Your choices

• Ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
• Ask us to delete it.
• Ask us to stop contacting you.

Contact hello(at)wombud(dot)com(dot)au. This waitlist is for people 18 years and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes and complaints

We may update this policy. The date at the top will change when we do. For a material change, we will contact the service provider waitlist at least 7 days before the change takes effect, using the email address or phone number you gave us.

If you have a question or complaint, email hello(at)wombud(dot)com(dot)au. We will acknowledge it and aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or 1300 363 992.
